Kiikalkeeth

Kiikalkeeth, locally know as sawfish, is a freshwater shark that comes down with the wet of Kaap season. They can grow up to 1.5 metres in length and some have even been found at 6 metres.

Kiikalkeeth also has significant totemic meaning to the Wik-Alkan people. Lex Namponan, a Wik-Alkan man himself, is one of the custodians to this freshwater shark story.
